Three family stories, in brief
Each family came to us with a different starting point. Here is a short account of how each engagement unfolded.
The Srisawat Family — Capturing a grandmother's voice before it was lost
The situation
The family's grandmother, aged 87, had begun to experience lapses in memory. Her four adult children recognised that if her stories were not captured soon, they would be lost entirely. They had never done anything like this before and did not know where to start.
How we helped
We conducted two relaxed recording sessions at the family home over consecutive Saturdays. The sessions were broken into short segments with rest periods. We focused on her childhood in Chiang Rai, her move to Bangkok in the 1960s, her marriage, and her memories of her late husband's family business.
What the family received
A 24-page formatted keepsake booklet in both Thai and English. The grandmother's story — told in her own words — was now in a form that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren would be able to read. The family ordered three printed copies.

The Phanichphant Family — Making sense of forty years of documents
The situation
Following the passing of their father, the two adult children discovered a substantial collection of documents — property records, certificates, correspondence, and family photographs — spread across three boxes and two folders with no organisation whatsoever.
How we helped
The Records Index Package was a natural fit. We reviewed, catalogued, and labelled 178 individual items, categorised by document type and approximate date. All items were returned in labelled folders within a main box, with a printed reference index cross-referencing each item by category and year.
What the family received
A complete, navigable document collection with a printed reference index. What had been a confusing and emotionally overwhelming pile became something ordered and accessible. The family could find any item in under a minute.

The Jiraphanon Family — Building an archive across four generations
The situation
A prominent Bangkok family with deep roots in the city wanted to establish a proper family archive covering their lineage from the early twentieth century to the present. The collection included photographs, official certificates, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and several hundred personal letters.
How we helped
The Heritage Archive Setup was conducted over six sessions across three weeks. We catalogued over 400 items, produced a master cross-reference index organised by generation, document type, and decade, and prepared a digitisation planning guide identifying priority items for scanning.
What the family received
A fully organised family archive with archival-standard labelling, a printed master index, a digitisation roadmap, and a two-hour handover session walking the family through the system. The archive is now maintained by the family independently.
